BBS-RS

Once again the gold Benz came through with another delivery of West German goodness. This shit goes back to when there was a W. Germany and a E. Germany. Ipicked up a new set of wheels... Well not new, nothing on this retro racer is new... especially this set of out of production BBS RS-0038. I've already got a set of BBS RS-001's in the basement that I've been meaning to refurbish. I can't stop myself when it comes to these things. I'm like a snotty girl with her daddy's credit card in the shoe department at Bloomie's when it comes to vintage european wheels. Except these shoes were rescued from a smashed japanese car at the auto wreckers by a nice man I met today who sold me the set.

15x7", true 3 piece wheels, forged aluminum and anodized gold. Even came with the little plastic wrench to spin off the center caps and a set of matching BBS branded lug nuts. I'll probably pop the centers out of my RS001's and insert them into the center of these since these are in better condition. Then I guess I should assemble the remaining parts back into a RS038 and sell them to one of those drifter kids to get my money back on the deal. But really, does a girl really need 12 pairs of shoes? I'm beginning to understand.

And here's a premonition for those of you who have no idea what the fizzo i'm trying to pull off here:

So yeah now I have three sets of wheels for a car with no motor in it.
Ah, the good times we'll have together...
