Cannibalism
I somehow managed to pick up another BMW and I'm parting it out. It had a few neat parts on it, keeping some for the 2002, selling other parts for to help the Retro Racer cashflow (so far I've netted a whopping $36). It's got a neat set of wheels... they're copies of Alpina rims. They look pretty boss on the 2002, but some guy might trade me them for a 3.91 LSD rear end.
So far I've netted $36 from selling parts off on the forums. If the deal goes through with the faux Alpinas, that will save me $250 on the total project cost. It's got a set of Recaros that need a bit of work. I'm hoping to get two fitty for them... also kinda tempted to keep them for the Retro Racer...
But yeah this has been a diversion from working on the 2002, which is Ok.. the more i drag my feet the cheaper the project becomes. Erm, if that makes any sense. Maybe it doesn't. Ok, i live paycheck to paycheck and I just don't have the cashflow to complete this racecar build up in a timely manner.
